Well we have made it!
Vintage is upon us and it looks fabulous so far.
The weather has been 'interesting' to say the least and we are about 10 days ahead of our usual picking dates, but the fruit is looking great so you can look forward to some amazing wines from this vintage.
Picking the whites began in January with the Sauvignon Blanc and Muscat then before we knew it, the Viognier, Chardonnay & Semillon were ready.
So here we are on the 22nd of February and we are picking red grapes.....amazing! But when the grapes are ready, they wait for noone and we pick.
Today, we are crushing 30 tonne of fruit, again......amazing. Vintage looks like it will be over before we know it.
Take a look at this amazing Durif. Beautiful, what more can we say.
